The Uma Musume Carat Calculator is a free, unofficial planning tool for players of Cygames' Uma Musume Pretty Derby. It answers a question that is hard to work out in your head: will I be able to afford the banners I want?
Carat Calculator, Planner, and Timeline
Carats come from dozens of sources, each on its own schedule. The calculator collates these sources for each banner to produce an estimate. You tell the calculator what your current resources are and which recurring income sources apply to you, and it calculates how many pulls you will have on the last day of each banner.
The Planner tracks which characters and support cards selector tickets can be used on, shows step-up banners, and lists limited-time purchases that were available on the Japanese server. These purchases can optionally be included in the calculator.
The Timeline shows upcoming banners, PvP events, anniversaries, and other in-game events. Upcoming banners include information about free pulls and highlights highly recommended banners.
Where the numbers come from
Banner dates, event rewards and income rates are maintained here by hand and updated as they are announced. The underlying methodology follows Henry's resource spreadsheet, the carat calculator this site grew out of. Recent data and feature changes are listed on the Changelog, the FAQ explains each income source, and the carat income guide walks through the projection step by step.
Who makes it
This is a small fan project, run alongside the Henry Handsome Derby YouTube channel and spreadsheet.
- Daboochy built the site and keeps it running: the calculator, the projection engine behind it, and the banner and event data it runs on.
- Daptrius made the resource spreadsheet this site grew out of. Much of the math and data behind the numbers comes from that work.
Not affiliated with Cygames
This site is unofficial and has no connection to Cygames or Uma Musume Pretty Derby. All game names, characters and assets belong to their respective owners.
